I view my job as a postpartum doula to do whatever it takes to help you and your family adjust to your newborn and feel a bit more "normal". I provide in-home support and care for the new mother and her family so that they can focus on successfully incorporating a new child into their lives. I come with a knowledge of infant care, new mom care, breast and bottle guidance, suggestions for relaxation and older sibling adjustment. I also offer meal preparation, light housework and referrals for all manners of services if you feel you need more assistance. I focus on getting naps for you and making sure you are eating and getting plenty of fluids! I find that most new moms need an unbiased friend, someone to talk with about their birth, their changing moods and their babies poopy diapers! I also offer overnight care, where I handle the night feedings, burping and diaper changes so you can get a more restful nights sleep.

Fees
There is no fee for the initial interview.

For postpartum care I ask $25 per hour. With $100 due at hiring as a deposit for my time, this is deducted from your first day of care. I also offer nanny / babysitting at a rate starting at $15 per hour
