I view my job as a postpartum doula to do whatever it takes to help you and your family adjust to your newborn and feel a bit more "normal". I provide in-home support and care for the new mother and her family so that they can focus on successfully incorporating a new child into their lives. I come with a knowledge of infant care, new mom care, breast and bottle guidance, suggestions for relaxation and older sibling adjustment. I also offer meal preparation, light housework, pet care and referrals for all manners of services if you feel you need more assistance. I am also an excellent organizer and can help you organize the baby's room and beyond. I focus on getting naps for you and making sure you are eating and getting plenty of fluids! I find that most new moms need an unbiased friend, someone to talk with about their birth, their changing moods and their babies poopy diapers!

Fees
There is no fee for the initial interview.

For postpartum care I ask $25 per hour. With $100 due at hiring as a deposit for my time, this is deducted from your first day of care. I also offer nanny / babysitting at a rate starting at $15 per hour
